About Kate
With over a decade of teaching experience in both the state and independent sector where I have taught a variety of students with diverse learning needs. I have spent that time developing a number of strategies to allow my teaching style to adapt to the nuances of those in front of me; meaning the individual is able to make progress at their own pace.
One-to-one tutoring is the idealistic opportunity to make progress that being in a classroom cannot compete with.

Qualifications & Additional Experience
MA Masters in Educational Innovation in Mathematics Teaching (Warwick University)
PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Teaching (Warwick University)
BSc Mathematics Degree (University of Birmingham)
A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Fine Art.
I am able to offer support in applications for University as well as entrance exams and mock interviews.

Cost of Tuition
My one-to-one tutoring rates are inline with top quality tutoring starting at £85 per hour. Through services such as 'Find a Tutor' sites you can find cheaper alternatives, but what I am able to offer is superior expert advice and guidance and my sessions are also inclusive of high quality resources that have been used by students who have seen outstanding success.
I am abundantly aware that undertaking tutoring can be a big financial commitment; therefore if my calendar allows, I will aim to find some time to tutor which are every other week. Whilst I would be advising a minimum of once a week for optimum results, it can help to reduce the costs, whilst still offering students high quality support.
